Spliced T-spins involve inserting T-spins in between other T-spin setups. This is the most advanced type of T-spins.
Because of their vast variability, I cannot show everything.
However, here is a long video of my compiled mid-game spliced T-spin feats:
To use them well, you should:
- Use them only opportunistically (i.e., one side of the stack is fully upstacked, so you only have to put a few pieces to complete the setup).
- Watch for T dependencies. If there aren’t enough Ts, give them up!
- Watch for danger; spliced setups can block the garbage hole, making you susceptible to being spiked with no way to cancel it out with Tetrises.
- Watch for the height: don’t use them when too overstacked as you may run out of places to put pieces while waiting for incoming Ts.
- Minimize T wastage in the stack – every T placed on the stack needs another T placed to even out parity (if the field was originally parity imbalanced).
- Be familiar with their follow-ups and ways to construct them so you can create them quickly with maximal continuations.
- Be creative!
