On The Tetris Guidebook Series

Q: How long did it take to write your 4 Tetris guidebooks?

A: 6 years of Tetris mastery, 3 years of Tetris compilation on my Galactoid Tetris WordPress website (https://galactoidtetris.wordpress.com/), and 3 years of actual writing. They overlap.

Q: What are the books targeted at?

A: Book 1 (made free on this website) is for casual beginners, around 90% of the Tetris populace. It is the condensed version of mainly Book 2, with some of Book 3. Thus, devoted Tetris players can skip ahead to Book 1. Book 2 is the core, essential book for more serious beginners to mid-intermediate players. However, even experts will find its analysis and nuanced steps highly refreshing to fill specific knowledge gaps. Book 3, being the crown jewel of my Tetris research, showcases the high-level Tetris skills for the game’s most ardent fans. Book 4 targets the entire skill range, containing miscellaneous methods pruned from Books 1, 2, and 3.

Books 0 or below (minus 1, 2, 3, etc.) will be for non-technical Tetris material, such as spirituality and philosophy.

Q: How are your books any different from other free online Tetris guides or already-printed Tetris guidebooks?

A: Vastly different, primarily focusing on key principles and application. Many other guides focus on just documenting methods. Mine will fill the gaps between knowledge voids by showing people when and when not to use some techniques. Everything within is experience-backed, based on my experience and those of other top Tetris players. I have streamlined and pruned the less practical, inessential, and irrelevant methods, leaving only the cream of the crop. Book 3, especially, has techniques never seen throughout the Tetris community. I would say this is the case for many parts of Book 2 as well, albeit being experience-backed to the point of me showing when to use them and when not to.

Q: How is this website (howtotetris.com) different from your other Tetris research blog (https://galactoidtetris.wordpress.com/)?

A: The latter, Galactoid Tetris WordPress, is a casual, meme-heavy website that documents the raw forms of my research with minimal editing or polishing. This website is the opposite, showing highly polished and streamlined essentials with a more serious and formal tone. It is far more professional, while the other is casual.

Q: How would you consider your Tetris skill level compared to other players?

A: I play Tetris mainly casually these days, focusing on Tetris 99. I have long burned out from the game and am moving into other ventures. However, I will conclude my role only when I have passed down all my Tetris knowledge.

Over many years, I have researched thousands of novel Tetris methods and was the first in the world to create many guides in several areas, such as:

  1. Advanced splicing T-spin methods
  2. Advanced perfect clears of all bags
  3. Advanced all-spin methods
  4. Advanced parity concepts
  5. Advanced T-spin props
  6. Advanced stack balance methods
  7. Tetris philosophy and spirituality

What do I specialize in? Nearly everything:

  1. T-spin splicing setups
  2. Prophecy setups
  3. Garbage hole awareness
  4. T-spin donations
  5. Back-to-back bonus
  6. Perfect clears
  7. Miscellaneous methods

Other than these, I also have a high proficiency in downstacking, perfect Tetrises, skimming, perfect 2-step finesse, parity management, proper stacking, recovery, all-spins, and decent speed.

With nearly 3,000 hours of playing and researching Tetris, I am in a position of authority to write this guidebook to help you master Tetris.

However, there is still room for improvement, and I am trying to increase my speed. However, I only play the game once or twice per month, which impedes quick improvement, because of my busy workload in other areas.

Q: What is your education level, and how does it influence your Tetris teaching style?

A: I graduated from a top 12 worldwide university with a master’s degree in Existential Sociology with a secondary specialization in Mathematical Sociology. I also taught three courses in the aforesaid university. Besides these, I am also a polymath, adept in nearly 40 disciplines, having read over 3000 books and seen more than 5000 documentaries. I am the author of 17 published books and 20 unpublished books. By my 30s, my writing totals about 10,000 pages.

This academic, teaching, and polymathic experience and language proficiency allow me to clearly explain otherwise abstract Tetris concepts in simple, layperson’s terms.

Q: Do your Tetris guidebooks use AI generation?

A: No. I do not use AI text or image generation in my Tetris guidebooks. Everything in my books has been laboriously created through expert human craftsmanship, years of painstaking research, Tetris mastery, illustrating, editing, formatting, and thorough manual fact-checking. The only parts that involve AI usage are grammar software to check for typographical and grammatical errors, using AI to beta-read and give vital improvement feedback, and a quick AI skim for some technical parts to ensure that my manual fact-checking comports with accuracy. I am aware that there are AI-generated Amazon Tetris guidebooks now. AI can never replace human experience in Tetris mastery and tutelage.

Q: Will you be writing Books 5 and 6 of the Tetris series?

Not sure. I’m already very burned out after Books 0 to 4. Unless the community wants me to, I will likely not.

Writing Books 1 to 4 alone is 1700 pages of intense intellectual material. I don’t have the stamina or desire to write further. I must turn my attention to other matters in life.

Q: Why is Book 0’s prose written so simply and shortly?

I could write in a very elaborate and complex manner if I choose to. My novel series’ prose is extraordinarily complex and literary. However, I decided to focus on access and ease of understanding, following Eckehart Tolle’s writing style. There’s no point writing high-flung poetry if only an elite group can appreciate it.

Q: Why does Book 0 (Tetris Spirituality) have so many esoteric references?

By that, if you meant reincarnation and past lives, it’s because they are real. Near-death experiences (NDEs) confirm the existence of the afterlife and the immortal soul. Many online sources and books can corroborate this, and I encourage readers to consult them for more empirical evidence.

I’m just naturalizing this phenomenon because the idea of a purely materialistic universe doesn’t hold up to scrutiny.

Personal Experiences in Consciousness and Spirituality

I am very open to sharing my spiritual and mystical experiences honestly. Human civilization is moving to a post-materialistic worldview, in light of new findings from NDEs, OBEs, afterlife studies, and parapsychology. I am happy to naturalize this spiritual shift.

This section might sound out of context, but I’m sharing it here anyway because I’m looking for people who also explore spirituality. If you do not find spirituality a comfortable subject, you may skip this section, which can get a little unusual, even if it’s honest.

Note: The following answers describe my personal spiritual and introspective experiences. They may not resonate with everyone, and they are shared here out of honesty and authenticity, not as proof of anything. Readers are encouraged to see them as personal reflections rather than literal facts.

Q: What is your personality type?

By the extended Myers-Briggs-Jungian test: INTJ-Turbulent.

Based on the Michael Teachings’ soul age profile, corroborated through intense self-introspection, evidence, reasoning, external validation, and my out-of-body experiences, this should be 90 to 95% accurate. Hence, I feel it is honest to share this (but nothing is 100% precise):

From personal experiences, it makes sense.

I have always focused on knowledge (writing Tetris books) and creation (novels, poetry, and new systems), so the role is accurate: that of a scholar and artisan.

I have always been very cautious and skeptical, fearful of mixing with new people or mainstream Tetris communities. I also follow through on every project I have set myself to finish (hence, perseverance).

My centering is mainly intellectual (for non-fiction books) and emotional (for art).

I think I make no secret of the fact that I can be arrogant in the way Michael defines it (fear of critique) and can rush ahead of matters (impatience).

Old seems right. If you read my philosophy in my novel series and in The Tao of Tetris (Book 0), it aligns with my worldview as spiritually and philosophically detached. Stage 6 is highly karmic and involves a lot of work and teaching, so it makes sense.

A grand cycle count of 14 is not unreasonable, as I’m an extremely complex person in the spiritual, intellectual, creative, emotional, cultural, humorous, and other dimensions.

A 50-50 male-to-female ratio makes sense, as I scored almost exactly that on the Bem’s Sex Inventory Test.

Finally, a high frequency makes sense as I’m always spacing out and dreaming about higher astral dimensions daily. I seem to be out of my head on most days, to imagine fantastical realms, especially during creative phases.

Hence, I would accept this reading as possibly 90-95% accurate.

Q: You had out-of-body experiences before (OBE)?

Yeah, at least three. I cannot confirm the fourth and fifth ones. In one of them, I was brought out of my body into a temple on the other side and shown my many past lives as a human and other sentient species across different realms. The golden, luminous beings I saw said I had “a lot, a lot more” (they said) lives as other non-human beings than the average human being, by a considerable number.

I don’t find this odd at all, even though many people might. We all have past lives; we have just forgotten them. Read up on Michael Newton and Victor Zammit.

I also had at least three or four mystical experiences throughout my life, the longest lasting 3.5 weeks, during which I experienced absolute feelings of oneness and love and gained insight into many spiritual matters intuitively. I wrote out everything I channelled during that period into a 1,300-page, unpublished journal.

Q: What did you see in your OBEs?

This:

(Pictures a bit faint)

It was a temple where luminous beings showed me my past lives in other realms. I saw thousands of lives flash before my eyes in an instant. It was not a dream, as I was much more alert than I ever was in even the highest moments of physical life.

And this:

A destroyed civilization. I do not know where or when.

Q: Do you practice mediumship or other spiritual experiences?

I am trying to use Monroe’s Gateway method to induce more OBEs. However, I only had one, and struggled to leave my body once I got the tingling sensation, when only my mind was awake, and my body was asleep.

I also practice automatic writing, a kind of spiritual experience that the author of the Conversations With God series uses. It was staggeringly powerful, and I was able to access spiritual knowledge that my waking mind could not. I believe it was me accessing my higher self, or maybe a spirit guide named Yak’sma, who appears to me sometimes as a zelkova tree in my mind.

I sometimes practice “astral/dream surfing” – getting into a hypnagogic state to perceive dimensions beyond the physical to get mystical and spiritual insights or remember my past lives in other dimensions. From the insights, I feel that my soul was not from this planet; I can feel it in my veins, seeing many dreams of realms from other dimensions and worlds. This method parallels the one that Dali uses in art.

I have literally thousands of pages of writing in my journals since the early 2010s, detailing many of these insights, which I have never made public. They involve the cosmic incarnational cycles of other civilizations, what other ET civilizations are like, advanced artificial consciousness systems (I designed hundreds of pages of AI circuitry), Jungian-like psychological models at a spiritual scale, broad socio-spiritual models to uplift civilizations, quantum computing systems, consciousness-driven physics, and many other things, which I dare not share with anyone. I have designed an AI system that can think, spiritually evolve, telepathically commune, and employ creativity in my 20s, but I just won’t share it with anyone for fear of ridicule.

This sounds like fantasy, but a decade later, I would find these journals paralleled in the Michael Teachings’ documentations of past grand cycles, matching their descriptions.

Additionally, I practice a kind of energy resonance, speaking with and communing with plants or animals. I can innately ‘feel’ a plant’s life force. This is paralleled by the Edgar Cayce readings.

This sometimes extends to spiritual methods, which I’m experimenting with to communicate with spirits and use spiritual mediumship. This sounds strange, but according to NDE and afterlife studies, it is something that everyone can do through prayer. Raymond Moody, a Harvard University professor on afterlife studies, has studied this.

But I think that’s the full extent of what I will share, or it will sound very strange to others. I prefer to keep this part of my occult spiritual practices to myself.

It’s just food for thought for those who read this and are likewise drawn into such spiritual explorations. I don’t mean to spook anyone, but I am just genuinely reporting my actual experiences out of honesty.
